ABOUT DONTWORRY
dontworry is an independent homewares brand by designer and maker Miranda, bringing together ceramics and textiles through cushions, lamps and clocks.
DRESSING A HOME
I think of the pieces I make as jewellery for the home. A lamp or a clock has a practical role, but choosing one is also a chance to bring your own taste into a room. That idea guides the details: the sheen of satin, a matte ceramic button, long ties at the corners of a cushion. Colour and decoration are part of the design from the beginning.
FROM CERAMICS TO TEXTILES
My work began with ceramics. Learning to sew opened up new possibilities for combining materials, and those experiments became the starting point for dontworry’s homewares. I’m drawn to the way fabric and clay behave differently: fabric folds and gathers, while fired clay holds its shape. Designing with both lets me bring those qualities into the same piece.
DESIGNED TO SIT TOGETHER
Across the collection, colours and materials reappear in different forms. A cushion, a lamp and a clock can share a palette while each having its own character. I want to make everyday objects with enough detail to reward a closer look—and enough personality to be chosen simply because you love them.
